Middle school is a time for students to grow academically while beginning to think more intentionally about their future.

At Trailhead Virtual Academy, students strengthen core academic skills while exploring career pathways and developing real-world abilities that prepare them for high school and beyond.

Strong Academic Foundations

Students continue building knowledge in:

  • English Language Arts – Strengthening writing, reading, and communication skills
  • Mathematics – Applying logic and analytical thinking to real-world problems
  • Science – Exploring STEM concepts through investigation and discovery
  • Social Studies – Understanding communities, economics, and civic responsibility

Coursework challenges students to think critically, communicate clearly, and apply what they learn in meaningful ways.

Exploration & Readiness

Middle school students begin exploring their interests while building the skills that prepare them for future opportunities.

Students participate in engaging learning experiences such as:

  • Virtual guest speakers and career spotlights
  • Hands-on challenges and collaborative problem-solving
  • Reflection activities that help students identify their strengths and interests
